Özden Bahar struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Ataman Özal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Derinkuyu JK. In the 10th minute, Bayram Suavi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sezen Kumuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ataman Özal having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as İbrahim Efe Müftüoğlu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bayhan Dural. That made the score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. After having played for 24 minutes, Özden Bahar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Derinkuyu JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Özden Bahar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karayazi FK's Ataman Özal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özden Bahar in the 26th minute of play. Özden Bahar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Derinkuyu JK's Özden Bahar in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Karayazi FK's goalie prevented a goal. If İbrahim Efe Müftüoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. Ataman Özal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Özden Bahar to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hayrullah Bayram in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bayhan Dural saved Derinkuyu JK from getting behind. Aybar Semdin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ataman Özal. Karayazi FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. İbrahim Efe Müftüoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bayhan Dural having to interfere. Karayazi FK's supporters rose to their feet, but İbrahim Efe Müftüoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bayhan Dural breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 89 minutes, Hayrullah Bayram made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Derinkuyu JK's Bayhan Dural tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Celil Alyakut hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Sezen Kumuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ataman Özal having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Karayazi FK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Derinkuyu JK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
