With a left leg Cemal Geylanoğullarından saved Eregli JK from getting behind. 14 minutes into the match, Gercüs JK's goal looked a bit too open when Nafiz Sümeroğlu came free, but Paşa Ali Çubukcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eregli JK's Cemal Geylanoğullarından played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karahan Beyan in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Eregli JK's Gökberk Kutsal got a free kick in the 16th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karahan Beyan during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Karahan Beyan hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After 26 played minutes Gercüs JK got a freekick which was hit by Ataman Yağızalp. After having played for 27 minutes, İsmail Cem Kutertan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eregli JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but İsmail Cem Kutertan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Gökberk Kutsal came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Eregli JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gökberk Kutsal couldn't finish the play. Tuncer Torhan kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Nafiz Sümeroğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paşa Ali Çubukcu was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. After 32 minutes, Nafiz Sümeroğlu made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Gercüs JK's Paşa Ali Çubukcu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cemal Geylanoğullarından breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute İsmail Cem Kutertan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paşa Ali Çubukcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eregli JK's Nafiz Sümeroğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Nafiz Sümeroğlu made the kick off in the second half. Ahmet Refik Kara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. When Tuncer Torhan fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gercüs JK's protests and gave Tuncer Torhan a yellow card for diving instead. Tuncer Torhan hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Gercüs JK's Paşa Ali Çubukcu got control of the ball when İsmail Cem Kutertan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nafiz Sümeroğlu struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Paşa Ali Çubukcu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eregli JK.
