The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 14 minutes into the match, Ego FK's goal looked a bit too open when Cuma Zeyyat came free, but Bilge Taşdan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Turgut Yağızkan hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Aglasun's Erenay Erakalın proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Aglasun from getting a goal against them. Turgut Yağızkan charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Turgut Yağızkan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ego FK's Turgut Yağızkan got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Bilge Taşdan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cuma Zeyyat, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cuma Zeyyat in the 29th minute of play forced Ego FK's goalkeeper Bilge Taşdan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erenay Erakalın made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arif Bilge Niyazi in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Devran Kaveloğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the game, Özer Yağan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Erenay Erakalın. Özer Yağan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 42 played minutes Aglasun got a freekick which was hit by Emin Kutluay. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Arif Bilge Niyazi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ego FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Arif Bilge Niyazi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erenay Erakalın breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The supporters of Aglasun booed when Ego FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Turgut Yağızkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ali Atıf Şahdar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cuma Zeyyat might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bilge Taşdan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cuma Zeyyat ran back to his position shaking his head. Cuma Zeyyat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ego FK's Bilge Taşdan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cuma Zeyyat in the 66th minute of play. Cuma Zeyyat struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Bilge Taşdan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aglasun. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Arif Bilge Niyazi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ego FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Arif Bilge Niyazi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erenay Erakalın breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd minute, Arif Bilge Niyazi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erenay Erakalın showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özer Yağan in the 77th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Aglasun defense, Arif Bilge Niyazi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erenay Erakalın. The Aglasun fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erenay Erakalın should have stopped the shot. Ego FK's Bilge Taşdan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Ego FK from getting a goal against them. Aglasun's Cuma Zeyyat got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adnan Tunçkan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 94th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Arif Bilge Niyazi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erenay Erakalın having to interfere.
