Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dinç Tokyüz kicked off to start the match. In the 8th minute, Berkay Vuralhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mücahit Otaran in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kahraman Asır prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Izmit SK's Serdar Yalap proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Izmit SK from getting a goal against them. Vedat Cihaner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dinç Tokyüz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hüyük's Vedat Cihaner got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Izmit SK's goalkeeper Serdar Yalap had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Berkay Vuralhan. After a rather tough play, Izmit SK's Anıl Arda Uygun got a free kick in the 41st minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vedat Cihaner was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Osman Erengüç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emran Mustafali kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Kahraman Asır showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atay Kayansel, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Dinç Tokyüz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Kahraman Asır tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mücahit Otaran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kahraman Asır having to interfere. Kahraman Asır made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mücahit Otaran in the 67th minute. Dinç Tokyüz might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kahraman Asır. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dinç Tokyüz ran back to his position shaking his head. Kahraman Asır came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Izmit SK's Dinç Tokyüz. But to his dismay, Dinç Tokyüz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Dinç Tokyüz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Kahraman Asır tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Dinç Tokyüz in the 82nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Mücahit Otaran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Hüyük getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Arif Ozan Bozbora hit a great ball. In the 90th minute, Atay Kayansel fired a really elegant long shot, but Kahraman Asır threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. In the 91st match minute, Hüyük was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Nejat Hacıfettahoğlu to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Hüyük's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mücahit Otaran fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Izmit SK's Serdar Yalap played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berkay Vuralhan in the 94th minute of play. Izmit SK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
