If Tuncay Bozer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Galip Özçınar made an important save on a dangerous shot by kaya Kamber in the 8th minute. After 10 played minutes Sögütözü got a freekick which was hit by Zekai Hürmüz. Tuncay Bozer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Galip Özçınar having to make a save. Galip Özçınar made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when kaya Kamber sent off a good shot on target. Tayyar Selahaddin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Galip Özçınar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Ferit Sehriyar charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
