Baturhan Ergunalp scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Necati İkbal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Celil Vecihi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ayhan Durusoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bektaş Veli Arslangiray kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Tolga Atikoğlu, 14 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baturhan Ergunalp in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Necati İkbal saved Manisa from getting behind. In the 27th minute, Bora Han Serhad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Bismil JK getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Fikret Nazil hit a great ball. Manisa's Batu Uçkun suffered a concussion after 33 minutes and had to leave the field. When Cüneyd Ömürcan fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bismil JK's protests and gave Cüneyd Ömürcan a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bismil JK getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Cüneyd Ömürcan hit a great ball. Celil Vecihi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baturhan Ergunalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Necati İkbal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celil Vecihi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Cenk İlseven fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bayındır Mehmet Yanaç, passed just outside the right post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celil Vecihi to strike the kick off in the second half. Bayındır Mehmet Yanaç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celil Vecihi in the 53rd minute of the match. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bismil JK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Duran Derelioğlu was slow to take the kick. During this time Manisa's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Ayhan Durusoy managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 56 minutes into the match, Celil Vecihi notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Bismil JK's Bayındır Mehmet Yanaç. Bayındır Mehmet Yanaç was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 60th play minute Baturhan Ergunalp came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Necati İkbal. 1-2. Melik Gürçınar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Necati İkbal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Manisa's goal looked a bit too open when Melik Gürçınar came free, but Necati İkbal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Manisa's zone, Baturhan Ergunalp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Necati İkbal came out of the goal and Baturhan Ergunalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bismil JK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Manisa a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Duran Derelioğlu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bismil JK's Bayındır Mehmet Yanaç. 2-3. Melik Gürçınar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Manisa's Necati İkbal got control of the ball when Baturhan Ergunalp tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celil Vecihi in the 98th minute of play forced Bismil JK's goalkeeper Bayındır Mehmet Yanaç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
