In the 4th minute, İldeniz Bekdil fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ceyhun Uluğ, passed just outside the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when İldeniz Bekdil got free with Ceyhun Uluğ in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 12 minutes into the game, Kaan Urandu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Baspinar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Samsun Fk the free kick. After a rather tough play, Baspinar's Kaan Urandu got a free kick in the 12th minute. When Battal Cüneyt Adıgün came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Samsun Fk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Battal Cüneyt Adıgün couldn't finish the play. After having played for 15 minutes, Serkan Ergün managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samsun Fk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serkan Ergün was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When İldeniz Bekdil got free in front of the goal in the 17th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Ceyhun Uluğ was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. İldeniz Bekdil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Ceyhun Uluğ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Ahmet Efe Özerdem fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Battal Cüneyt Adıgün had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Baspinar getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Melih Cevdet Ayçetin hit a great ball. With a little luck, Baspinar's Ceyhun Uluğ got control of the ball when Birkan Talaş tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers İldeniz Bekdil in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ceyhun Uluğ saved Baspinar from getting behind. Vacib Müjdat hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After 33 played minutes Samsun Fk got a freekick which was hit by Battal Cüneyt Adıgün. Ceyhun Uluğ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Battal Cüneyt Adıgün in the 36th minute of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Birkan Talaş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samsun Fk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Birkan Talaş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ceyhun Uluğ made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when İldeniz Bekdil sent off a good shot on target. Battal Cüneyt Adıgün received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ceyhun Uluğ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Ceyhun Uluğ managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Samsun Fk's İldeniz Bekdil fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Battal Cüneyt Adıgün had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when İldeniz Bekdil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Baspinar's goal looked a bit too open when Birkan Talaş came free, but Ceyhun Uluğ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hami İsmihan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ceyhun Uluğ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 55 played minutes Baspinar got a freekick which was hit by Kaan Urandu. After having played for 58 minutes, İldeniz Bekdil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samsun Fk's supporters crossed their fingers, but İldeniz Bekdil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Afşar Özkul hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Baspinar's zone, İldeniz Bekdil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ceyhun Uluğ came out of the goal and İldeniz Bekdil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Baspinar defense, Birkan Talaş kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ceyhun Uluğ. The Baspinar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ceyhun Uluğ should have stopped the shot. After having played for 71 minutes, Battal Cüneyt Adıgün managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samsun Fk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Battal Cüneyt Adıgün was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ceyhun Uluğ took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İldeniz Bekdil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mustafa Arif Akcebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Birkan Talaş's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ceyhun Uluğ read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 77thth minute of the game İldeniz Bekdil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Baspinar's Ceyhun Uluğ was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. During the 77th minute of the match Kaan Urandu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Kaan Urandu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Baspinar getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Kaan Urandu hit a great ball. After having played for 80 minutes, İldeniz Bekdil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samsun Fk's supporters crossed their fingers, but İldeniz Bekdil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Battal Cüneyt Adıgün struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Ceyhun Uluğ didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samsun Fk. 83 minutes into the match, Samsun Fk's goalkeeper Mehmet Ferit Tunçaslan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vacib Yula. 85 minutes into the match, Samsun Fk's İldeniz Bekdil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ceyhun Uluğ narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birkan Talaş in the 88th minute of play forced Baspinar's goalkeeper Ceyhun Uluğ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. İldeniz Bekdil might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ceyhun Uluğ. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. İldeniz Bekdil ran back to his position shaking his head. Mustafa Arif Akcebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Ceyhun Uluğ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When İldeniz Bekdil came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Samsun Fk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İldeniz Bekdil couldn't finish the play. Samsun Fk's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
