Dragos JK's Şeref Avcıoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cihan Dilsuz in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Zafer Başkaya had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Şeref Avcıoğlu. Dragos JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zafer Başkaya was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. With a little luck, Susuz's Atilla Kaşif got control of the ball when Erol Çeliktaş tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Ahmet Ziya Özaltuğ fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Susuz's protests and gave Ahmet Ziya Özaltuğ a yellow card for diving instead. Atilla Kaşif made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Barış Derem in the 95th minute of play. When Cihan Dilsuz came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Susuz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cihan Dilsuz couldn't finish the play.
