In the 40th minute, Fazıl Hüsnü Kani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 42 played minutes Köprüköy got a freekick which was hit by Aykut Kabak. Berkant Akdiken's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ekber Servet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, İzzet Sina managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Ayazpasa FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ekber Servet should have stopped the shot. Berkant Akdiken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ekber Servet having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ardahan Durali during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Köprüköy support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
