After 12 played minutes Yüksekova FK got a freekick which was hit by Güven Süngü. Recai Boyraz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mehmet Bilge Harmanda's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Recai Boyraz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Bilge Harmanda in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Ateş Semi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yüksekova FK's Recai Boyraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Bilge Harmanda in the 17th minute of play. Veli Rüştü took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şükrü Batırhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, GÜMÜŞ SPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Nuralp Okaner came free, but Veli Rüştü reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atilla Harmanda hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The supporters of GÜMÜŞ SPOR booed when Yüksekova FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güven Süngü didn't get a good kick on the ball. GÜMÜŞ SPOR's Mehmet Bilge Harmanda got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mehmet Bilge Harmanda struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Recai Boyraz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GÜMÜŞ SPOR. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nuralp Okaner made a kick off. Veli Rüştü made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuralp Okaner in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Ziya Onur Kanver reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Veli Rüştü. The goal made the score 1-1. Mehmet Bilge Harmanda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Ateş Semi managed to get in a good position for a shot. GÜMÜŞ SPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Ateş Semi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Recai Boyraz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mehmet Bilge Harmanda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, GÜMÜŞ SPOR's goalkeeper Veli Rüştü had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Güven Süngü. Veli Rüştü showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuralp Okaner in the 68th minute of the match. A collision led to GÜMÜŞ SPOR getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Şimşek Akgöze hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ziya Onur Kanver got free with Veli Rüştü in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Yüksekova FK defense, Mehmet Bilge Harmanda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Recai Boyraz. The Yüksekova FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Recai Boyraz should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ateş Semi in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Recai Boyraz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 94 played minutes Yüksekova FK got a freekick which was hit by Atilla Harmanda. Yüksekova FK's Recai Boyraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Bilge Harmanda in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. GÜMÜŞ SPOR fully deserved thier win.
