In the 5thth minute of the game Serter Hasankeyf who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Recepafsin's Burak Mazlum was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Burak Mazlum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serter Hasankeyf, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Gemerek JK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hazım Pakel 10 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Umut Hakan hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Göktuğ Ülgener notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Recepafsin's Burak Mazlum. Burak Mazlum was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Gemerek JK's zone, Umut Hakan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ercan Haşmetli came out of the goal and Umut Hakan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ercan Haşmetli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hazım Pakel in the 25th minute of the match. Ercan Haşmetli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hazım Pakel's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Serter Hasankeyf struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Burak Mazlum didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gemerek JK. When Göktuğ Ülgener came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Gemerek JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Göktuğ Ülgener couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Hazım Pakel took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Ercan Haşmetli to make any attempt to save it. Ercan Haşmetli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hazım Pakel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Recepafsin's Burak Mazlum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göktuğ Ülgener in the 61st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gemerek JK's zone, Umut Hakan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ercan Haşmetli came out of the goal and Umut Hakan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd minute Hazım Pakel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ercan Haşmetli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The attack was good, but when Hazım Pakel in the 78th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The supporters of Gemerek JK booed when Recepafsin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdulvahit Kenan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uğur Sertel kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Boran Pekgöz charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boran Pekgöz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Recepafsin's Boran Pekgöz got a free kick in the 86th minute. 94 minutes into the game, Serter Hasankeyf cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Burak Mazlum was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
