İslam Semi's late challenge caught a Fındıklı FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. İslam Semi helped the player get up and apologised. Trabzonspor's Karhan Yasun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Trabzonspor from getting a goal against them. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmet Kağan Necip to strike the kick off in the second half. Karhan Yasun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nurtekin Olcaytug in the 52nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Günalp Patlar could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Battal Cüneyt Arslangiray however easily saved by the left post. After some careless play in the Trabzonspor defense, Ahmet Kağan Necip kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karhan Yasun. The Trabzonspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karhan Yasun should have stopped the shot. Battal Cüneyt Arslangiray made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Günalp Patlar sent off a good shot on target. When Ahmet Kağan Necip came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Fındıklı FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Kağan Necip couldn't finish the play. Fındıklı FK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
