After a rather tough play, Kovancilar FK's Nazım Sefaaddin got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute Kamil Nazil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cezmi Adanır saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Volkan Tokuş came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arif Buğra Kuman could save by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Volkan Tokuş managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kovancilar FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Volkan Tokuş was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arif Buğra Kuman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th minute, Findikli's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ilgaz Rekin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ilgaz Rekin in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arif Buğra Kuman saved Findikli from getting behind. Volkan Tokuş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Findikli's İzzettin Baş got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kamil Nazil was the one to do the kick off. Kamil Nazil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Findikli's Sait Gülle broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 78th minute Kamil Nazil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cezmi Adanır saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 81 minutes, Volkan Tokuş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kovancilar FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Volkan Tokuş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Findikli's Kamil Nazil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cezmi Adanır narrowly saved just below the crossbar. İzzettin Baş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Cezmi Adanır tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. İsrafil Ağırtaş hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. A collision led to Findikli getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Demir Oruz hit a great ball. Kovancilar FK were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Findikli's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. İsrafil Ağırtaş took the corner. After taking down the ball on Kovancilar FK's corner İsrafil Ağırtaş fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arif Buğra Kuman quite easily take care of the ball.
