Onurhan Cömert started the match with the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doğuş Uğuz couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the match, Gölcük's goal looked a bit too open when Burhan Şahinter came free, but Aybek Ezgü reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Burhan Şahinter struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Aybek Ezgü didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kozakli FK. Aybek Ezgü stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hayyam Aşık's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. After 21 minutes, Mustafa Emre Ulvi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gölcük and the Kozakli FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mustafa Emre Ulvi hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the game, one of Gölcük:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 24 minutes into the match, Emirhan Hafi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aybek Ezgü. Gölcük's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emirhan Hafi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Alpay Ekiner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Onurhan Cömert in the 27th minute of play. Onurhan Cömert might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alpay Ekiner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Onurhan Cömert ran back to his position shaking his head. Aybek Ezgü took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emirhan Hafi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hayyam Aşık sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Burhan Şahinter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Aybek Ezgü tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Gölcük players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kozakli FK were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Burhan Şahinter made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doğuş Uğuz in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alpay Ekiner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aybek Ezgü showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Burhan Şahinter in the 60th minute of the match. Ejder Guftar kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Kozakli FK's Alpay Ekiner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doğuş Uğuz in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute Burhan Şahinter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aybek Ezgü saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute Onurhan Cömert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alpay Ekiner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When İdris Eymen fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kozakli FK's protests and gave İdris Eymen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th minute, İdris Eymen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Burhan Şahinter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aybek Ezgü was relentless in the 84th minute of the game.
