Enginsu Taif was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 7th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Kars FK's zone, Enginsu Seciye stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Akil Tanberk came out of the goal and Enginsu Seciye tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Genco Tarhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 minutes, Ahmet Bedri Arınç made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Kars FK's Akil Tanberk tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Sahrayicedit FK getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. After some careless play in the Kars FK defense, Enginsu Seciye kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Akil Tanberk. The Kars FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Akil Tanberk should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Güneri Kortan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kars FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Güneri Kortan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arif Gaffar Çalapover breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Sahrayicedit FK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Güneri Kortan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arif Gaffar Çalapover made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genco Tarhan in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Kars FK's goal looked a bit too open when Enginsu Seciye came free, but Akil Tanberk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Enginsu Seciye had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arif Gaffar Çalapover showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Güneri Kortan in the 63rd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the game, Kars FK's Güneri Kortan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arif Gaffar Çalapover made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 69th play minute Ahmet Bedri Arınç came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Akil Tanberk. 1-3. With a little luck, Kars FK's Akil Tanberk got control of the ball when Ahmet Bedri Arınç tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Güneri Kortan in the 81st minute of play forced Sahrayicedit FK's goalkeeper Arif Gaffar Çalapover to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Genco Tarhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the game, Güneri Kortan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kars FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sahrayicedit FK the free kick. After 86 played minutes Kars FK got a freekick which was hit by Güneri Kortan. After 90 played minutes Kars FK got a freekick which was hit by Zühtü İmruz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enginsu Seciye in the 92nd minute of play forced Kars FK's goalkeeper Akil Tanberk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Kars FK's Zühtü İmruz got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Ahmet Bedri Arınç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Akil Tanberk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
