After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Abdulhamit Öğeturk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tirebolu FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdulhamit Öğeturk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tansel Yiğithan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tirebolu FK's Korhan Dağtekin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Tirebolu FK from getting a goal against them. In the 79th minute, Abdulhamit Öğeturk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tirebolu FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The referee ignored Gemlik FK's protests and gave Korkutalp Çoğa a yellow card for diving instead.
