Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Karadeniz Erkılıç got the match started through his kick off. Karadeniz Erkılıç scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Beşir Acunman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 8th minute, Reha Serdinç got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 12 minutes, Acun Üçok managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hatay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Acun Üçok was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th minute, Karadeniz Erkılıç ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Beşir Acunman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Beşir Acunman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yetkin Zahir, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. If Reha Serdinç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Orta FK booed when Hatay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gökçek Yoruç didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hatay's attentive Özalp Nevruz managed to snatch the ball when Erim Makbul made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Orta FK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ahmet Hafiz Vefi was slow to take the kick. During this time Hatay's players had a chance to rest. Reha Serdinç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cenk Has having to interfere. After the first half Hatay were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Karadeniz Erkılıç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Yetkin Zahir sped through Orta FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Beşir Acunman. İbrahim Ethem Ulubek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cenk Has read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Hatay's Yetkin Zahir got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Yetkin Zahir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
