Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Afşar Kubilay got the match started through his kick off. Yaprakli's Ahmet Korkut Yılmaz got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 8 minutes into the match, Arif Nihat İlkim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tahsin Vefakar. Karayazi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arif Nihat İlkim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ahmet Korkut Yılmaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Karayazi booed when Yaprakli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Suphi Akoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 minutes, Suphi Akoğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yaprakli and the Karayazi players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Yaprakli getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Suphi Akoğlu hit a great ball. Yaprakli's Hüsnü Temur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Yaprakli from getting a goal against them. With his leg Hüsnü Temur managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Karayazi's Vehdi Akyel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Arif Nihat İlkim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tahsin Vefakar having to interfere. Hüseyin Adsoy hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Yaprakli's Hüsnü Temur got control of the ball when Tacettin Ocakçı tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tahsin Vefakar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Korkut Yılmaz in the 37th minute of play. If Suphi Akoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Selmi Oran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Tahsin Vefakar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Birkan Kadem's late challenge caught a Yaprakli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Birkan Kadem helped the player get up and apologised. Birkan Kadem kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arif Nihat İlkim to make the kick off. If Arif Nihat İlkim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Arif Nihat İlkim came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Yaprakli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arif Nihat İlkim couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Ahmet Korkut Yılmaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yaprakli's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Korkut Yılmaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tahsin Vefakar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th match minute, Karayazi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saffet Katib to maneuver through the defense. Yaprakli made a substitution. Necip Tayyip replaced Ahmet Korkut Yılmaz. A collision led to Yaprakli getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Celal Özboga hit a great ball. Necip Tayyip struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Tahsin Vefakar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yaprakli. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Hüseyin Adsoy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yaprakli's supporters rose to their feet, but Hüseyin Adsoy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tahsin Vefakar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Necip Tayyip fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tahsin Vefakar having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Karayazi's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Nihat İlkim came free, but Tahsin Vefakar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 89 minutes, Selmi Oran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yaprakli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Selmi Oran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 91 played minutes Karayazi got a freekick which was hit by Sufi Şimşektürk. In the 95th minute, Hüseyin Adsoy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yaprakli's Hüsnü Temur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afşar Kubilay in the 98th minute of play. Despite being the better team, Yaprakli failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
