In the 6th minute Sümer Uçkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şerif Kınay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Beysehir's goal looked a bit too open when Fadıl Kökten came free, but Şerif Kınay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Özgüzeldere's Rauf Sözmen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Özgüzeldere from getting a goal against them. 15 minutes into the match, Özgüzeldere's goalkeeper Rauf Sözmen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Durmuş Kazım. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Güngör Tanaydin in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rauf Sözmen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sümer Uçkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şerif Kınay having to interfere. Şerif Kınay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sümer Uçkan in the 23rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kadir Satuk during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Beysehir booed when Özgüzeldere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kadir Satuk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Güngör Tanaydin spun around in front of the goal 29 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Özgüzeldere's goal. Selami Özaltay charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Selami Özaltay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Özgüzeldere getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Selami Özaltay hit a great ball. Güngör Tanaydin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Güngör Tanaydin made a kick off. Beysehir's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cenk Akduman in the 53rd minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Özgüzeldere's goalie and right to Vecdet Eğilmez. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Özgüzeldere's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. If Sümer Uçkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Güngör Tanaydin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Rauf Sözmen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rauf Sözmen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Güngör Tanaydin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Beysehir booed when Özgüzeldere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kadir Satuk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rauf Sözmen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Güngör Tanaydin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Güngör Tanaydin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 85 minutes, Fadıl Kökten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Özgüzeldere's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fadıl Kökten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Özgüzeldere's zone, Durmuş Kazım stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rauf Sözmen came out of the goal and Durmuş Kazım tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Necmettin Kebir's late challenge caught a Özgüzeldere's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Necmettin Kebir helped the player get up and apologised. Beysehir:s Şerif Kınay showed great skill when he stopped Okan İlkay:s penalty. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
