The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ahmet Arif Ilıca's late challenge caught a Tekirdağ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Arif Tugay Düden came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Tekirdağ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arif Tugay Düden couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Tekirdağ booed when Beysehir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beysehir's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vedat Yumus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Şerif Kınay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ali Güralp Enginer's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. 23 minutes into the game, Ali Güralp Enginer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Şerif Kınay. Ali Güralp Enginer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Vedat Yumus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beysehir's Güngör Tanaydin got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Beysehir booed when Tekirdağ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kandemir Cebir didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute of the match Dinçer Uraza shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Güray Urluk showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Beysehir's Şerif Kınay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Beysehir from getting a goal against them. Şerif Kınay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Güralp Enginer in the 36th minute of the match. If Vedat Yumus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Güralp Enginer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Şerif Kınay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ali Güralp Enginer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Vedat Yumus came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Tekirdağ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vedat Yumus couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute, Ali Güralp Enginer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ahmet Arif Ilıca hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Şerif Kınay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Güralp Enginer in the 54th minute of the match. After 54 minutes of play, Tekirdağ's Ali Güralp Enginer made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 59th minute Ali Güralp Enginer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şerif Kınay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, one of Tekirdağ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tekirdağ. Tekirdağ:s Güray Urluk showed great skill when he stopped Cenk Akduman:s penalty. Vedat Yumus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Şerif Kınay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Tekirdağ's Ali Güralp Enginer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Şerif Kınay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vedat Yumus might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Şerif Kınay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vedat Yumus ran back to his position shaking his head. 72 minutes into the game, Tekirdağ's Ali Güralp Enginer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Şerif Kınay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Vedat Yumus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ali Güralp Enginer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Şerif Kınay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
