Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Metin Vakkasoğlu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Atalan Delioğlu's late challenge caught a Yüksekova's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atalan Delioğlu helped the player get up and apologised. Yüksekova's Ahmet Rıfat Şenyurt couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 5th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pozanti. Yüksekova's Metin Vakkasoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Pozanti getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Yaman Akyazıcı hit a great ball. Ahmet Rıfat Şenyurt took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Türkeş Yamanöz. Pozanti's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sezer Türkyılmaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beyhan Safer, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Beyhan Safer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Sezer Türkyılmaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd match minute, Pozanti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atalan Delioğlu to maneuver through the defense. Metin Vakkasoğlu struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Türkeş Yamanöz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yüksekova. In the 29th match minute, Pozanti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yaman Akyazıcı to maneuver through the defense. Türkeş Yamanöz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Metin Vakkasoğlu's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After 35 minutes, Ali Vedat Temizel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yüksekova and the Pozanti players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave Pozanti a penalty, 36 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ünal Ceberut, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Yüksekova's Sezer Türkyılmaz. 0-1. 40 minutes into the game, Turgay Kirmanşah was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yüksekova's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pozanti the free kick. In the 41st match minute, Yüksekova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Turgay Kirmanşah to maneuver through the defense. If Beyhan Safer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Beyhan Safer made a kick off. Beyhan Safer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Metin Vakkasoğlu struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Türkeş Yamanöz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yüksekova. When Metin Vakkasoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Yüksekova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Metin Vakkasoğlu couldn't finish the play. 68 minutes into the game, Pozanti's Beyhan Safer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sezer Türkyılmaz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atacan Atasoy in the 72nd minute of play forced Pozanti's goalkeeper Türkeş Yamanöz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sezer Türkyılmaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Behzat Çağnur in the 76th minute of play. If Atacan Atasoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pozanti's Arif Oğuz Evliya was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 86th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 89th match minute, Pozanti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yaman Akyazıcı to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Metin Vakkasoğlu in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Türkeş Yamanöz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 94th minute Atacan Atasoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Türkeş Yamanöz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pozanti eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
