In the 31st minute, Celebi FK's Turan Ziverbey dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Metin Vakkasoğlu in the 42nd minute of play forced Celebi FK's goalkeeper Saadettin Altunay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Metin Vakkasoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saadettin Altunay having to interfere. If Atacan Atasoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Metin Vakkasoğlu to make the kick off. Namık Kemal Çağakan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sezer Türkyılmaz having to interfere. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Yüksekova's goalkeeper Sezer Türkyılmaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Turan Ziverbey in the 72nd minute of play forced Yüksekova's goalkeeper Sezer Türkyılmaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atacan Atasoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Saadettin Altunay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
