Acigöl FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yüksekova the free kick. Vecdet Altın hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Turgay Kirmanşah kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Saffet İsmail received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Sezer Türkyılmaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Şener Koçaslan fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yüksekova's protests and gave Şener Koçaslan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Acigöl FK booed when Yüksekova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şener Koçaslan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 minutes, Ecevit Uygan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Acigöl FK and the Yüksekova players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 minutes of play Yüksekova's Şener Koçaslan was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Yüksekova's Şener Koçaslan got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 41st match minute, Yüksekova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emirhan Hilal to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Alişan Ufuk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sezer Türkyılmaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oğuzer Nuri in the 48th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

If Vecdet Altın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vecdet Altın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 57 minutes, Murat Çelenk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Acigöl FK and the Yüksekova players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sezer Türkyılmaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murat Çelenk in the 61st minute of play. Murat Çelenk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. When Oğuzer Nuri came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Acigöl FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oğuzer Nuri couldn't finish the play. Yüksekova's Sezer Türkyılmaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Yüksekova from getting a goal against them. When Murat Çelenk was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. In the 79th minute, Murat Çelenk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oğuzer Nuri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sezer Türkyılmaz having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Acigöl FK's Oğuzer Nuri dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. When Ecevit Uygan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. Ecevit Uygan hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Metin Vakkasoğlu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yüksekova fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Yüksekova succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Acigöl FK had controlled the match.
