But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ceyhan Nedret couldn't finish the play. Necat Ongen scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alkan Derman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Göynük's Temel Özerdinc slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zafer Hinoğlu. That made the score 1-1 after 24 minutes of play. Keramettin Orgunalp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Zafer Hinoğlu made a huge save. Necat Ongen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute, Necat Ongen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 37 minutes, Ceyhan Nedret managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ilıca Spor Kulübü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ceyhan Nedret was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ceyhan Nedret received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Alkan Derman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Necat Ongen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alkan Derman having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Necat Ongen was the one to do the kick off. Zafer Hinoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keramettin Orgunalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Necat Ongen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zafer Hinoğlu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Temel Özerdinc's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. In the 68th minute, Sancar Oktar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Göynük's Temel Özerdinc in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ilıca Spor Kulübü's goalie prevented a goal. After 77 played minutes Göynük got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Ekrem Usman. In the 82nd match minute, Göynük was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Ekrem Usman to maneuver through the defense. Ilıca Spor Kulübü's Necat Ongen got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Necat Ongen in the 88th minute of play forced Göynük's goalkeeper Alkan Derman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Keramettin Orgunalp sped through Ilıca Spor Kulübü's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zafer Hinoğlu. If Ceyhan Nedret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Necat Ongen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alkan Derman having to interfere. The Göynük support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
