Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Cevat Hidayettin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 4 played minutes Güneysu got a freekick which was hit by Varol Canalp. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arın Ferhat Evcimen during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 5th minute, Arın Ferhat Evcimen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arın Ferhat Evcimen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Temel İlkut's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Bektaş Veli Ünlüsoy skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Talas booed when Güneysu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Temel İlkut didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Talas getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Tahir Kutbay hit a great ball. If Temel İlkut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bektaş Veli Ünlüsoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cevat Hidayettin in the 25th minute of the match. Temel İlkut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Ramiz Tolunay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 39 minutes of play, Güneysu's Temel İlkut made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bektaş Veli Ünlüsoy was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 43rd minute, Temel İlkut got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramiz Tolunay made a kick off. Bektaş Veli Ünlüsoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bilgin Olcaytu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Temel İlkut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Bektaş Veli Ünlüsoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute Temel İlkut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bektaş Veli Ünlüsoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erim Hürsel charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erim Hürsel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 70 played minutes Talas got a freekick which was hit by Erim Hürsel. In the 72nd minute Temel İlkut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bektaş Veli Ünlüsoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Talas's zone, Cevat Hidayettin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bektaş Veli Ünlüsoy came out of the goal and Cevat Hidayettin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Temel İlkut came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Güneysu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Temel İlkut couldn't finish the play. If Cevat Hidayettin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Talas's goal looked a bit too open when Bilgin Olcaytu came free, but Bektaş Veli Ünlüsoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Temel İlkut notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Talas's Bektaş Veli Ünlüsoy. Bektaş Veli Ünlüsoy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Cevat Hidayettin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Güneysu players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
