Vacib Timurtas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Emre Tefhim in the 26th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Zonguldakspor SK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ergani:s goal. Zonguldakspor SK's Vacib Timurtas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Emre Tefhim in the 40th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Ahmet Hakan Öztimur had to leave the field with a concussion. When Arkın Yanal fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ergani's protests and gave Arkın Yanal a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ergani getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Arkın Yanal hit a great ball. The Zonguldakspor SK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ergani were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anıl Ozan Tanbolat was the one to do the kick off. Mehmet Emre Tefhim struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Vacib Timurtas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ergani. After 60 minutes, Raik Makul mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zonguldakspor SK and the Ergani players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 63 minutes, Mehmet Emre Tefhim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ergani's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehmet Emre Tefhim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Zonguldakspor SK's Battal Seyyit Evvah got a free kick in the 65th minute. Vacib Timurtas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mehmet Emre Tefhim in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute, Anıl Ozan Tanbolat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Raik Makul was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 68 minutes had been played. In the 69th minute, Raik Makul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mehmet Emre Tefhim kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 70thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Zonguldakspor SK's keeper Vacib Timurtas was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Tolga Ekşioğlu hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the game, Mehmet Emre Tefhim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Vacib Timurtas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 76th minute Anıl Ozan Tanbolat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vacib Timurtas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vacib Timurtas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anıl Ozan Tanbolat in the 78th minute of the match. Vacib Timurtas was a little too slow when Anıl Ozan Tanbolat got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 0-3. If Hakkı Devrim Ulutaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Battal Seyyit Evvah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Ergani defense, Battal Seyyit Evvah kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mert Nazir. The Ergani fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mert Nazir should have stopped the shot. In the 95th match minute, Ergani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dilaver Tekinel to maneuver through the defense.
