Gökberk Uraz came out of the goal and Akgün Guftar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kenan Akersoy's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Ahmet Fikret Dilşah skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gökberk Uraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Akgün Guftar, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kenan Akersoy got free with Ahmet Fikret Dilşah in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Genco Yalım took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ahmet Fikret Dilşah. Gayrettepe's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Behlül Karanalp in the 26th minute of play forced Hüyük FK's goalkeeper Gökberk Uraz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Fikret Dilşah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mete Nasih, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Şinasi Soyuer hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After having played for 30 minutes, Behlül Karanalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gayrettepe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Behlül Karanalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Akgün Guftar came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Gayrettepe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Akgün Guftar couldn't finish the play. After having played for 39 minutes, Behlül Karanalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gayrettepe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Behlül Karanalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kerem Oba's late challenge caught a Gayrettepe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kerem Oba helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd match minute, Hüyük FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kerem Oba to maneuver through the defense. Kerem Oba was shown his second yellow card after 45 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Hüyük FK's Kerem Oba got a free kick in the 45th minute. Arif Memduh Belge, 46 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Gökberk Uraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Behlül Karanalp in the 49th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kenan Akersoy to strike the kick off in the second half. Behlül Karanalp's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Gökberk Uraz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 59th minute, Behlül Karanalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st minute, Şinasi Soyuer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gayrettepe's Arif Memduh Belge couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hüyük FK. After 63 played minutes Hüyük FK got a freekick which was hit by Mete Nasih. Akgün Guftar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gökberk Uraz came out and tried to block the shot, but Akgün Guftar slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 64th minute. Kenan Akersoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Akgün Guftar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mehmet Akif Onurad fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hüyük FK's protests and gave Mehmet Akif Onurad a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Hüyük FK getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Mehmet Akif Onurad hit a great ball. After 97 minutes of play, Hüyük FK's Kenan Akersoy made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmet Fikret Dilşah was left in no man's land by his defense there!
