Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Hüseyin Can Sönmez came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Kilyos's Volkan Uraltay. But to his dismay, Volkan Uraltay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mahsun Onuker in the 17th minute of play forced Kilyos's goalkeeper Ali Orhan Şahabeddin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mersin FK's Derman Nurbaki got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baysal İlkut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kilyos's Ali Orhan Şahabeddin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mahsun Onuker in the 22nd minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Kilyos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mersin FK:s goal. 34 minutes into the game, one of Kilyos:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Bülent Mülayim struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Hüseyin Can Sönmez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kilyos. Hüseyin Can Sönmez didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 46th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2.

The wind increased when Bülent Mülayim made the kick off in the second half. Baysal İlkut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Ali Orhan Şahabeddin made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Kilyos's zone, Baysal İlkut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Orhan Şahabeddin came out of the goal and Baysal İlkut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute, Bülent Mülayim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hüseyin Can Sönmez was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. The audience was convinced that Volkan Uraltay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hüseyin Can Sönmez was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Baysal İlkut blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ali Orhan Şahabeddin having to make a save. Bülent Mülayim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hüseyin Can Sönmez having to interfere. After 72 minutes, Zikri İpek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mersin FK and the Kilyos players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Kilyos booed when Mersin FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zikri İpek didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd match minute, Mersin FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vahap Ergenç to maneuver through the defense. Ali Orhan Şahabeddin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mahsun Onuker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mahsun Onuker in the 81st minute of play forced Kilyos's goalkeeper Ali Orhan Şahabeddin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Volkan Uraltay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hüseyin Can Sönmez having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bülent Mülayim in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hüseyin Can Sönmez saved Mersin FK from getting behind. Mersin FK's Baysal İlkut got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ali Orhan Şahabeddin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mahsun Onuker, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Baysal İlkut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 95 minutes, Mahsun Onuker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mersin FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mahsun Onuker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Kilyos were victorious despite being under pressure from Mersin FK for much of the match.
