Cerkezköy's Mahmut Ak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Cerkezköy from getting a goal against them. In the 9th minute, TurkishSigmas FK's Erkan Kutalp ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mahmut Ak. Mahmut Ak yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Mehmet Ediz Tuyuğ hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, TurkishSigmas FK's Tanju Bağışhan tried to score from far away in the 23rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Aktan Ersalmış ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mahmut Ak was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Erkan Kutalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mehmet Ediz Tuyuğ kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Aktan Ersalmış's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mahmut Ak was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Fikret Rüşti's late challenge caught a TurkishSigmas FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fikret Rüşti helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th match minute, Cerkezköy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fikret Rüşti to maneuver through the defense. Erkan Kutalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mahmut Ak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aktan Ersalmış in the 42nd minute. If Erkan Kutalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Cerkezköy's Mahmut Ak got control of the ball when Aktan Ersalmış tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fethi İpekçi to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erkan Kutalp in the 52nd minute of play forced Cerkezköy's goalkeeper Mahmut Ak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Serdar Akabe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, TurkishSigmas FK's Müfit Akboy got a free kick in the 56th minute. If Fethi İpekçi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aktan Ersalmış fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahmut Ak having to interfere. After some careless play in the Cerkezköy defense, Aktan Ersalmış kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mahmut Ak. The Cerkezköy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mahmut Ak should have stopped the shot. If Erkan Kutalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Cerkezköy's goal looked a bit too open when Erkan Kutalp came free, but Mahmut Ak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Aktan Ersalmış cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Mahmut Ak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mahmut Ak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erkan Kutalp in the 78th minute of play. Mahmut Ak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aktan Ersalmış's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 87th minute, Aktan Ersalmış ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mahmut Ak was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 91 minutes into the match, Cerkezköy's goal looked a bit too open when Erkan Kutalp came free, but Mahmut Ak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. TurkishSigmas FK's Erkan Kutalp got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. TurkishSigmas FK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
