Hasan Ali Topçam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nurtekin Akmaner in the 11th minute of the match. Hasan Ali Topçam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Hafiz Erginer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mehmet Emin Akadlı charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mehmet Emin Akadlı the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cerrahpasa FK getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Mehmet Emin Akadlı hit a great ball. Hasan Ali Topçam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nurtekin Akmaner, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. When Mehmet Bedri İlyas came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Cerrahpasa FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehmet Bedri İlyas couldn't finish the play. Sultanhamam's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Berk Birsan scored to the left of an out of position Vural Oba, making the score, 1-0. After 43 played minutes, Sultanhamam's Ayhan Özel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hasan Ali Topçam came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sultanhamam reached it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Hafiz Erginer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ahmet Refik Nevsal's late challenge caught a Sultanhamam's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Refik Nevsal helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cerrahpasa FK's Ahmet Refik Nevsal got a free kick in the 60th minute. When Oğuz Erçevik fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cerrahpasa FK's protests and gave Oğuz Erçevik a yellow card for diving instead. Birdal Tunçdağ shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Hasan Ali Topçam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Hafiz Erginer in the 68th minute of play. Vural Oba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Bedri İlyas in the 71st minute of the match. Arif Nihat Orkut's late challenge caught a Cerrahpasa FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arif Nihat Orkut helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, Cerrahpasa FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Bedri İlyas to maneuver through the defense. Vural Oba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berk Birsan in the 82nd minute of play. In the 87th minute, Ahmet Hamdi Giryar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hasan Ali Topçam was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ahmet Hafiz Erginer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 92 minute of play. Mehmet Bedri İlyas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vural Oba having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cerrahpasa FK had won after a very even match.
