The audience was convinced that Mahsun Tokuz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erenay Akburç was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. If Orbay Kelami had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. When Afşar Akburç came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Sivrihisar JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afşar Akburç couldn't finish the play.

In the 53rd minute, Yahya Taşan made a precise shot to the right of Erenay Akburç. Sivrihisar JK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 62nd minute Afşar Akburç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Hamdi Togay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Akkisla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sivrihisar JK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Akkisla's Ahmet Ziya Akgöze got a free kick in the 85th minute. After 87 minutes, Ahmet Bedri Güzir mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Akkisla and the Sivrihisar JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orbay Kelami in the 90th minute of play forced Akkisla's goalkeeper Ahmet Hamdi Togay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
