The audience was convinced that Suavi Baydar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paşa Ali Suerdem was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Demirhan Dündar got free with İstemihan Tutku in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The supporters of Laleli booed when Refahiye JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cevdet Remiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Paşa Ali Suerdem made an important save on a dangerous shot by Suavi Baydar in the 87th minute. When Suavi Baydar came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Laleli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Suavi Baydar couldn't finish the play. Muhammet Orcan struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Paşa Ali Suerdem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laleli. If Balamir Turcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Muhammet Orcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paşa Ali Suerdem having to interfere. Laleli were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
