Özalp SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grkn Atılım the free kick. A collision led to Özalp SK getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Asrın Yonal hit a great ball. Abdi Saygın Hazar didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 5th minute. Grkn Atılım's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! In the 9th minute Grkn Atılım were awarded a corner. Enginsu Balyemez went to the cornerflag to take it. Abdi Saygın Hazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Hidayet Baysungur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grkn Atılım's Abdi Saygın Hazar was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 16th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 21st minute, Ege Akad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Talip Kutertan kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdi Saygın Hazar got free with Hidayet Baysungur in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the match, Grkn Atılım's goal looked a bit too open when Akif Uluğ came free, but Hüsmen Boysel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hidayet Baysungur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdi Saygın Hazar's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute Uluç Öztekin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hüsmen Boysel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 34 minutes, Lucas Manex managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grkn Atılım's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Manex was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the game, Grkn Atılım's Abdi Saygın Hazar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hidayet Baysungur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After 45 minutes, Abdi Saygın Hazar made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Özalp SK's Hidayet Baysungur tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Uluç Öztekin made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Abdi Saygın Hazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hidayet Baysungur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Abdi Saygın Hazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asrın Yonal in the 61st minute of play forced Grkn Atılım's goalkeeper Hüsmen Boysel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute of the match Talip Kutertan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hidayet Baysungur showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Asrın Yonal got his second yellow card in the match during the 65th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Özalp SK's Asrın Yonal got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute, Abdi Saygın Hazar made a precise shot to the right of Hidayet Baysungur. Özalp SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. In the 70th minute, Abdi Saygın Hazar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 71 minutes, Nebi Nezihi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Özalp SK and the Grkn Atılım players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nebi Nezihi kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After 81 played minutes Grkn Atılım got a freekick which was hit by Kılıçhan Tardu. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdi Saygın Hazar in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hidayet Baysungur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hidayet Baysungur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Manex, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. When Abdi Saygın Hazar fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grkn Atılım's protests and gave Abdi Saygın Hazar a yellow card for diving instead. Abdi Saygın Hazar hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Abdi Saygın Hazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hidayet Baysungur having to interfere. Grkn Atılım's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
