Güner İstikbal might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fethi Yeltekin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Güner İstikbal ran back to his position shaking his head. Güner İstikbal struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Fethi Yeltekin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yenifakili. Güner İstikbal scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fethi Yeltekin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th match minute, Tire SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ayberk İribaş to maneuver through the defense. Yüce Murtaza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fethi Yeltekin having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Hıdır Nazım recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hıdır Sarıdoğan. Hıdır Nazım showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Güner Birhan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fethi Yeltekin. Tire SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 30th minute, Kubilay Hikmettin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hıdır Sarıdoğan. The goal made the score 2-1. Fethi Yeltekin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yüce Murtaza, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Güner İstikbal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fethi Yeltekin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yüce Murtaza in the 40th minute of the match. Yenifakili's Güner İstikbal got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yenifakili's Hıdır Sarıdoğan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kubilay Hikmettin in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Güner İstikbal made a kick off. After 51 minutes, Şentürk Kanber mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yenifakili and the Tire SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Yenifakili getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Şentürk Kanber hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Güner İstikbal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yenifakili's supporters rose to their feet, but Güner İstikbal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fethi Yeltekin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yüce Murtaza struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Fethi Yeltekin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yenifakili. When Güner İstikbal came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Yenifakili fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Güner İstikbal couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Yenifakili's zone, Hıdır Nazım stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hıdır Sarıdoğan came out of the goal and Hıdır Nazım tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 67 minutes into the game, Yüce Murtaza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Fethi Yeltekin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Güner İstikbal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yüce Murtaza in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fethi Yeltekin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Güner İstikbal in the 82nd minute of play forced Tire SK's goalkeeper Fethi Yeltekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yüce Murtaza kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yenifakili's goalkeeper Hıdır Sarıdoğan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yenifakili's Hıdır Sarıdoğan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hıdır Nazım in the 97th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
