The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute 江鸿威 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yavuz Bülent Uğurel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 江鸿威 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Samsat's goalkeeper Yavuz Bülent Uğurel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ceyhun Acarbay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Yavuz Bülent Uğurel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Izmit's 江鸿威 got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Samsat's goalkeeper Yavuz Bülent Uğurel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yavuz Bülent Uğurel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Tugay Şencan in the 21st minute of the match. 姚崇松 took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Yavuz Bülent Uğurel. Samsat's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 25 minutes, Arif Tugay Şencan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Izmit and the Samsat players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Izmit was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Tugay Şencan to maneuver through the defense. Yavuz Bülent Uğurel came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Izmit's 江鸿威. But to his dismay, 江鸿威 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Yavuz Bülent Uğurel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceyhun Acarbay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Samsat booed when Izmit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lütfi Şevki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arif Tugay Şencan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tarık Saatçi made a kick off. Adam Naylor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hasan Tahsin Bardakçıoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute Hasan Tahsin Bardakçıoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Naylor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Izmit getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Yaşar Nuri Ülküm hit a great ball. Yavuz Bülent Uğurel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 江鸿威 in the 65th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Izmit's goal looked a bit too open when Tarık Saatçi came free, but Adam Naylor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Izmit getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Yaşar Nuri Ülküm hit a great ball. Ceyhun Acarbay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yavuz Bülent Uğurel having to interfere. After 74 played minutes Samsat got a freekick which was hit by Tolgahan Raid. The Izmit fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Izmit's 江鸿威 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Doğaner Hasankeyf during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Izmit walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
