The audience was convinced that Ertan Enfal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yavuz Bülent Uğurel was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. When Ali Cengiz Üstündağ fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Samsat's protests and gave Ali Cengiz Üstündağ a yellow card for diving instead. Ali Cengiz Üstündağ hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Doğaner Hasankeyf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selami Umar having to interfere. Yavuz Bülent Uğurel came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Orhaneli's Orbay Tüney. But to his dismay, Orbay Tüney quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Orhaneli's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
