Durmuş Yağızkurt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kamer Özil in the 79th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Beylerbeyi's zone, Çeliker Pakel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hikmet Yalazalp came out of the goal and Çeliker Pakel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Beylerbeyi's Üzeyir Altuncuoğlu got a free kick in the 85th minute. Beylerbeyi's Hikmet Yalazalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Rıfat Şikel in the 93rd minute of play.
