Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 12th minute, Hüsrev Ayberk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 15 minutes, Nihat Şükrü managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elmadag SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nihat Şükrü was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Elmadag SK booed when Besiktas FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yavuz Selim Gök didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmet Kutsi Adalı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hüsrev Ayberk in the 25th minute of play. After 26 played minutes Elmadag SK got a freekick which was hit by Abuzer Tanyeli. Eralp Tülün showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ecevit Şahinhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Ahmet Ege Dalayer's late challenge caught a Besiktas FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Ege Dalayer helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Elmadag SK getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ahmet Ege Dalayer hit a great ball. When Nihat Şükrü came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Elmadag SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nihat Şükrü couldn't finish the play. Eralp Tülün didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 39th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Ahmet Kutsi Adalı came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Elmadag SK's Ahmet Ege Dalayer. But to his dismay, Ahmet Ege Dalayer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ecevit Şahinhan was the one to do the kick off. Eralp Tülün showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Muammer Tecik, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Muammer Tecik took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eralp Tülün. Eralp Tülün dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The supporters of Elmadag SK booed when Besiktas FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samim Rebi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Hüsrev Ayberk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmet Kutsi Adalı was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Ecevit Şahinhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Besiktas FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ecevit Şahinhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eralp Tülün breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute Ecevit Şahinhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eralp Tülün saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eralp Tülün made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ecevit Şahinhan in the 76th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Besiktas FK's zone, Hüsrev Ayberk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Kutsi Adalı came out of the goal and Hüsrev Ayberk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 84 played minutes Elmadag SK got a freekick which was hit by Abuzer Tanyeli. Ecevit Şahinhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Eralp Tülün tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ecevit Şahinhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elmadag SK's Eralp Tülün played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ecevit Şahinhan in the 95th minute of play. 98 minutes had been played when some careless play by Elmadag SK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Atay Çırağ was slow to take the kick. During this time Besiktas FK's players had a chance to rest. Elmadag SK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
