An unexpectedly hard shot by Şemsettin Pekinturk in the 9th minute of play forced Eynesil FK's goalkeeper Bayezit Ülgü to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bayezit Ülgü showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaan Talay in the 15th minute of the match. Bayezit Ülgü showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şemsettin Pekinturk, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Baskın Çelenk charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baskın Çelenk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes Eynesil FK got a freekick which was hit by Baskın Çelenk. Tahir Timuroz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Faik Akalın showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. Çağdaş Ilgın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raşit Yusuf's late challenge caught a Esentepe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raşit Yusuf helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Eynesil FK's Raşit Yusuf got a free kick in the 34th minute. Esentepe's Kaan Talay got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Faik Akalın made a kick off. Esentepe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eynesil FK the free kick. In the 52nd minute, Ahmet Ali Çavas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bayezit Ülgü made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaan Talay in the 58th minute. Tahir Timuroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Çağdaş Ilgın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kaan Talay got free with Bayezit Ülgü in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kaan Talay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bayezit Ülgü having to interfere. Tahir Timuroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çağdaş Ilgın in the 74th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Esentepe's goal looked a bit too open when Faik Akalın came free, but Tahir Timuroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Çağdaş Ilgın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kaan Talay came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Esentepe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaan Talay couldn't finish the play. Şemsettin Pekinturk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bayezit Ülgü having to interfere. Tahir Timuroz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Çağdaş Ilgın went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Esentepe's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
