After 4 minutes of play, Akcakoca SK's Necip Bir made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Orlando Paraense was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hertha BSC Berlin's Orlando Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Altan Hızır in the 13th minute of play. If Necip Bir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Güneş Cinel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Gaueko in the 18th minute of the match. If Antonio Gaueko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Altan Hızır sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aykut Sarıdoğan kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. The Hertha BSC Berlin fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Hertha BSC Berlin's Metin Ersavaş looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Akcakoca SK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Antonio Gaueko scored to the left of an out of position Güneş Cinel, making the score, 3-1. Antonio Gaueko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Güneş Cinel was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Antonio Gaueko capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Antonio Gaueko really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Necip Bir to strike the kick off in the second half. When Hertha BSC Berlin's Metin Ersavaş in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Metin Ersavaş in the 60th minute of play forced Akcakoca SK's goalkeeper Güneş Cinel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 62 minutes, Metin Ersavaş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hertha BSC Berlin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Metin Ersavaş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Hertha BSC Berlin's Metin Ersavaş in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Akcakoca SK's goalie prevented a goal. Altan Hızır struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Orlando Paraense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Akcakoca SK. 79 minutes into the match, Akcakoca SK's goal looked a bit too open when Metin Ersavaş came free, but Güneş Cinel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Hertha BSC Berlin's Orlando Paraense got control of the ball when Altan Hızır tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Metin Ersavaş in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Güneş Cinel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Metin Ersavaş scored 8-1 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Güneş Cinel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hertha BSC Berlin walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
