Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Metin Ersavaş took the kick off in the first half of the match. Antonio Gaueko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Bilgin Hekimoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 5 minutes, Metin Ersavaş made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Saruhanli JK's Bilgin Hekimoğlu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Hertha BSC Berlin's Metin Ersavaş in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Saruhanli JK's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Hertha BSC Berlin's Orlando Paraense got control of the ball when Serbülent Erdemalp tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aykut Sarıdoğan during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aykut Sarıdoğan hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. If Enes Aydınalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute Metin Ersavaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bilgin Hekimoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Hertha BSC Berlin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Metin Ersavaş to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute, Antonio Gaueko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bilgin Hekimoğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. When Antonio Gaueko came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Hertha BSC Berlin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Gaueko couldn't finish the play. 29 minutes into the game, one of Saruhanli JK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Metin Ersavaş in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bilgin Hekimoğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Orlando Paraense made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Serbülent Erdemalp sent off a good shot on target. After 36 minutes, Cumali Doğay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saruhanli JK and the Hertha BSC Berlin players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Saruhanli JK getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Cumali Doğay hit a great ball. Ahmet Hamdi Birsoy succeeded in the game's 38th minute to get real power on a long shot . Saruhanli JK's Bilgin Hekimoğlu hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-4! 43 minutes into the match, Saruhanli JK's Serbülent Erdemalp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orlando Paraense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Serbülent Erdemalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Antonio Gaueko came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Hertha BSC Berlin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Gaueko couldn't finish the play.

A collision led to Saruhanli JK getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Göktan Ergümen hit a great ball. Metin Ersavaş's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Bilgin Hekimoğlu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bilgin Hekimoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Gaueko in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of Hertha BSC Berlin booed when Saruhanli JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kartal Uğursel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Enes Aydınalp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bilgin Hekimoğlu was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Bilgin Hekimoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Gaueko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Metin Ersavaş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Bilgin Hekimoğlu managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Hertha BSC Berlin's Metin Ersavaş fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Pars Sebukalp fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saruhanli JK's protests and gave Pars Sebukalp a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th minute of the match Ahmet Hamdi Birsoy shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bilgin Hekimoğlu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Namık Özertem's late challenge caught a Hertha BSC Berlin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Namık Özertem helped the player get up and apologised. Namık Özertem kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Metin Ersavaş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hertha BSC Berlin played a much better game than Saruhanli JK and deserved their victory. The Saruhanli JK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
