Halit Yükselir charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Behzat Ünlüol came out of the goal and Orhan Veli Sanat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ali Baran Atik lost his temper 13 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Yenihisar SK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! After 15 minutes of play, ÇaTaPaT's Birdal Tümel made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Behzat Ünlüol was left in no man's land by his defense there! Behzat Ünlüol made an important save on a dangerous shot by İshak Lefter in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bican Göktepe in the 20th minute of play forced ÇaTaPaT's goalkeeper Mazhar Laçin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. İshak Lefter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Behzat Ünlüol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Yenihisar SK's goalkeeper Behzat Ünlüol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hasan Baydan. ÇaTaPaT's İshak Lefter came free and shot a quick shot against goal 29 minutes in the game, fortunately Behzat Ünlüol had problems saving as it came toward the left post. İshak Lefter struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Behzat Ünlüol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ÇaTaPaT. In the 38th match minute, Yenihisar SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Numan Özak to maneuver through the defense. After 41 minutes Yenihisar SK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Birdal Tümel who took care of the corner kick. At last the ball reached Orhan Veli Sanat at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Yenihisar SK. 3-0. With a little luck, Yenihisar SK's Behzat Ünlüol got control of the ball when İshak Lefter tried to sneak it across the goal line. Işık Belek hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Birdal Tümel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Behzat Ünlüol. That made the score 4-0 in the 48 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Bican Göktepe made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute of the match ÇaTaPaT got a corner. Yenihisar SK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Birdal Tümel ran over to the corner to take the kick. Behzat Ünlüol didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from İshak Lefter went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 67th match minute, ÇaTaPaT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Meriç Demiroğlu to maneuver through the defense. If Orhan Veli Sanat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that İshak Lefter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Behzat Ünlüol was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. The referee showed Serdar Yaltır the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of ÇaTaPaT:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Yenihisar SK:s goal. After 96 played minutes Yenihisar SK got a freekick which was hit by Talha Berat. After some careless play in the Yenihisar SK defense, Hasan Baydan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Behzat Ünlüol. The Yenihisar SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Behzat Ünlüol should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that ÇaTaPaT were the better team. ÇaTaPaT's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
