Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cevdet Tanyeli started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Kemerburgaz's goal looked a bit too open when Cevdet Tanyeli came free, but Doğuş Tacir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet Bedri İsiman scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Doğuş Tacir, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Battal Gazi Servet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faruk Nafiz Özçevik in the 8th minute of play. Cevdet Tanyeli struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Doğuş Tacir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gerede. A wasted opportunity for Gerede. 22 minutes into the game, Mehmet Bilge Uruz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Battal Gazi Servet. Mehmet Bilge Uruz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Doğuş Tacir stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Bedri İsiman's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faruk Nafiz Özçevik in the 33rd minute of play forced Gerede's goalkeeper Battal Gazi Servet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faruk Nafiz Özçevik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Battal Gazi Servet having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Mehmet Bilge Uruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kemerburgaz's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehmet Bilge Uruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Battal Gazi Servet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cevdet Tanyeli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doğuş Tacir having to interfere. If Ahmet Bedri İsiman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Faruk Nafiz Özçevik made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Murat Veysel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kemerburgaz and the Gerede players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kemerburgaz fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! Sinan Borlu shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After a rather tough play, Kemerburgaz's Ahmet Kadri Akay got a free kick in the 56th minute. 57 minutes in the game, Cevdet Tanyeli dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Ahmet Bedri İsiman's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Doğuş Tacir firmly grabbed it by the left post. 67 minutes into the game, Faruk Nafiz Özçevik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Battal Gazi Servet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kemerburgaz's Doğuş Tacir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Kemerburgaz from getting a goal against them. Kemerburgaz's Mehmet Bilge Uruz got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th match minute, Gerede was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Behiç İlenç to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, Gerede's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Bilge Uruz came free, but Battal Gazi Servet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sinan Borlu during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Battal Gazi Servet had in the 83rdth minute some difficulties stopping Hızır Yalavaç's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 84th play minute Ahmet Bedri İsiman came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Doğuş Tacir. 2-4. Ahmet Bülent Özal charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ahmet Bülent Özal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mehmet Bilge Uruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Mehmet Bilge Uruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mehmet Bilge Uruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Battal Gazi Servet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gerede walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
