Ürgüp JK's Yılmaz Nursal got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Resulhan Vecih kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Başaran Şemseddin sped through Göztepe's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Baybora Muhteşem. Yılmaz Nursal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Baybora Muhteşem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Resulhan Vecih recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yılmaz Nursal struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Baybora Muhteşem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ürgüp JK. If Başaran Şemseddin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28thth minute of the game Yılmaz Nursal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Göztepe's Baybora Muhteşem was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Baybora Muhteşem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yılmaz Nursal, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Yılmaz Nursal sped through Göztepe's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Baybora Muhteşem. 35 minutes into the match, Göztepe's goal looked a bit too open when Yılmaz Nursal came free, but Baybora Muhteşem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nusrettin Rafet got free with Samir Oykut in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Göztepe booed when Ürgüp JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çağatay Tun didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Nusrettin Rafet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nusrettin Rafet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samir Oykut having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yılmaz Nursal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ürgüp JK were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Göztepe's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Utku Özak took the corner. Baybora Muhteşem made an important save on a dangerous shot by Başaran Şemseddin in the 57th minute. Baybora Muhteşem came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Ürgüp JK's Doğan Özben. But to his dismay, Doğan Özben quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The audience was convinced that Resulhan Vecih's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samir Oykut was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. 68 minutes into the match, Ürgüp JK's goal looked a bit too open when Resulhan Vecih came free, but Samir Oykut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Başaran Şemseddin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Başaran Şemseddin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baybora Muhteşem having to interfere. Baybora Muhteşem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yılmaz Nursal in the 75th minute of the match. Göztepe's Nusrettin Rafet got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Resulhan Vecih in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samir Oykut prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Başaran Şemseddin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Baybora Muhteşem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 86 played minutes Ürgüp JK got a freekick which was hit by Çağatay Tun. When Çağatay Tun fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ürgüp JK's protests and gave Çağatay Tun a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ürgüp JK getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Çağatay Tun hit a great ball. In the 94th minute of the match Göztepe got a corner. Ürgüp JK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anıl Ege Alanson ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Baturalp Hacıahmetoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Göztepe's protests and gave Baturalp Hacıahmetoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Göztepe's Baturalp Hacıahmetoğlu got a free kick in the 96th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ürgüp JK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
