Rüknettin Akçabay made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Efekan Karacabey sent off a good shot on target. Cevahir Balatürk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zeynel Ulun having to make a save. Sezer Öztaş could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Rüknettin Akçabay made a huge save. If Cevahir Balatürk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Sezer Öztaş managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alpu's supporters rose to their feet, but Sezer Öztaş was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rüknettin Akçabay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute, Efekan Karacabey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zeynel Ulun was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sezer Öztaş to make the kick off. The referee ignored Camliyayla's protests and gave Fikret Baltacıoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. The Alpu fans cheered their team off the field, for while Camliyayla had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
