When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Münir Adışanlı sped through Nazimiye JK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Doğa Baydan. Ahmet Hafiz Şerefhan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aykan Ersezer firmly grabbed it by the left post. Aykan Ersezer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ahmet Hafiz Şerefhan went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Nazimiye JK defense, Abdülhak Geylanoğullarından kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Doğa Baydan. The Nazimiye JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Doğa Baydan should have stopped the shot. 26 minutes into the match, KOCAELİSPOR's goalkeeper Aykan Ersezer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Hafiz Şerefhan. After 28 played minutes Nazimiye JK got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Hafiz Şerefhan. If Ahmet Hafiz Şerefhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdülhak Geylanoğullarından fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doğa Baydan having to interfere. Ahmet Hafiz Şerefhan came free with the goalkeeper in the 42nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aykan Ersezer could save by the left post. The supporters of KOCAELİSPOR booed when Nazimiye JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Hafiz Şerefhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Münir Adışanlı made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Nazimiye JK's Erkin Şikel got a free kick in the 51st minute. Aykan Ersezer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilla Bumin Karabey in the 55th minute of the match. Doğa Baydan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdülhak Geylanoğullarından in the 60th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Abdülhak Geylanoğullarından managed to get in a good position for a shot. KOCAELİSPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdülhak Geylanoğullarından was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doğa Baydan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cumali Barkan lost his temper 66 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 65th minute, one of KOCAELİSPOR:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KOCAELİSPOR. Aykan Ersezer had in the 68thth minute some difficulties stopping Nejat Demirci's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The KOCAELİSPOR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aykan Ersezer should have stopped the shot. Aykan Ersezer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilla Bumin Karabey in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 78th minute Ahmet Hafiz Şerefhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aykan Ersezer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nazimiye JK's Doğa Baydan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Nazimiye JK from getting a goal against them. Abdülhak Geylanoğullarından received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Doğa Baydan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Atilla Bumin Karabey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Hafiz Şerefhan in the 85th minute of play forced KOCAELİSPOR's goalkeeper Aykan Ersezer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Atilla Bumin Karabey had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aykan Ersezer. KOCAELİSPOR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Atilla Bumin Karabey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. In the 92nd minute, Eralp Okay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atilla Bumin Karabey took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aykan Ersezer. Aykan Ersezer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. The Nazimiye JK support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
