Abdulhamit Oğurata was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 9 minutes, Erdem Zekai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Erzin SK and the KOCAELİSPOR players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of KOCAELİSPOR booed when Erzin SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erdem Zekai didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 10 minutes, Abdülhak Geylanoğullarından managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KOCAELİSPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdülhak Geylanoğullarından was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aykan Ersezer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gencer Şener in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdülhak Geylanoğullarından in the 18th minute of play forced Erzin SK's goalkeeper Abdulhamit Oğurata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdulhamit Oğurata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdülhak Geylanoğullarından in the 30th minute of play. With a little luck, KOCAELİSPOR's Aykan Ersezer got control of the ball when Erdem Zekai tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Gencer Şener had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gencer Şener charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gencer Şener the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of KOCAELİSPOR booed when Erzin SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gencer Şener didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Erzin SK's Dinç Boysan got a free kick in the 39th minute. Aykan Ersezer made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Erdem Zekai sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 45 in the game by Erdem Zekai from a close distance when the talented Aykan Ersezer managed to make a qualified save. KOCAELİSPOR's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erdem Zekai got free with Aykan Ersezer in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, KOCAELİSPOR's Aykan Ersezer got control of the ball when Erdem Zekai tried to sneak it across the goal line.

If Münir Adışanlı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the game, Münir Adışanlı recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Abdulhamit Oğurata. Münir Adışanlı showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Erdem Zekai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aykan Ersezer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, KOCAELİSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Erdem Zekai came free, but Aykan Ersezer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aykan Ersezer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erdem Zekai, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. KOCAELİSPOR were furious when Gürbüz Savlet was red carded, 70 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 69 minutes into the game, one of KOCAELİSPOR:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a rather tough play, KOCAELİSPOR's Abdülhak Geylanoğullarından got a free kick in the 77th minute. Abdülhak Geylanoğullarından fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdulhamit Oğurata having to interfere. If Abdülhak Geylanoğullarından had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abdulhamit Oğurata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karamoko Bamba in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Abdülhak Geylanoğullarından recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Abdulhamit Oğurata. Abdülhak Geylanoğullarından showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Abdülhak Geylanoğullarından received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Abdulhamit Oğurata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yakup Kadri Kani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdulhamit Oğurata having to interfere. Abdulhamit Oğurata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdülhak Geylanoğullarından, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded KOCAELİSPOR left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Erzin SK.
