The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Polatli booed when KaR United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Galip Cangur didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 7 minutes, Birant Özgunay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polatli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Birant Özgunay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cüneyd Oğurata made an important save on a dangerous shot by Atalan Cuma in the 12th minute. When KaR United FC's Atalan Cuma in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Ünsal Kutlughan fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Polatli's protests and gave Ünsal Kutlughan a yellow card for diving instead. KaR United FC's Okan Hasanbeyli was substituted for Bayındır Mehmet Vahit. In the 32ndth minute of the game Atalan Cuma who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Polatli's Cüneyd Oğurata was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cesur Esir charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cesur Esir the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Polatli getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Cesur Esir hit a great ball. If Birant Özgunay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birant Özgunay in the 38th minute of play forced KaR United FC's goalkeeper İskender Özkutal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atalan Cuma in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cüneyd Oğurata, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 45th minute, Mecnun Şükran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atalan Cuma in the 47th minute of play forced Polatli's goalkeeper Cüneyd Oğurata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Birant Özgunay made the kick off in the second half. Atalan Cuma took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cüneyd Oğurata. Cüneyd Oğurata dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When KaR United FC's Atalan Cuma in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Polatli's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 63 minutes, Yenal Ulu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Çağan Tahir kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, Eralp Ortan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KaR United FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Polatli the free kick. In the 69th match minute, KaR United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eralp Ortan to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the match, KaR United FC's goalkeeper İskender Özkutal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Refik Nazif. If Refik Nazif had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 played minutes, KaR United FC's Galip Cangur shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cüneyd Oğurata came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in KaR United FC reached it. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Atalan Cuma put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cüneyd Oğurata. After 87 played minutes Polatli got a freekick which was hit by Mirkelam Hisarcık. In the 88th minute of the match Yenal Ulu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cüneyd Oğurata skillfully saved the ball. 94 minutes into the match, KaR United FC's goalkeeper İskender Özkutal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Refik Nazif.
