The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, MERSİN SK's goal looked a bit too open when Kemalettin Barlas came free, but Mehmet Emrah Adal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 4 minutes into the match, autocademir's goal looked a bit too open when Mirza Eyüpoğlu came free, but Koray Yiğitkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, MERSİN SK's Ömer Ünsal got a free kick in the 6th minute. When Ömer Ünsal fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MERSİN SK's protests and gave Ömer Ünsal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, one of MERSİN SK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for MERSİN SK. Mehmet Emrah Adal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ibar Caño went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Kemalettin Barlas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, MERSİN SK's Ömer Ünsal seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ömer Ünsal the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of MERSİN SK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ömer Ünsal had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Koray Yiğitkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baki Şeref in the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, Ibar Caño cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Mehmet Emrah Adal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to MERSİN SK getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Tolga Satılmış hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Ahmet Vefik Tanaltan had to leave the field with a concussion. Kemalettin Barlas charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kemalettin Barlas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mehmet Emrah Adal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damaso Mantzio in the 42nd minute of play. Ata Arısal's late challenge caught a autocademir's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ata Arısal helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, MERSİN SK's Ata Arısal got a free kick in the 46th minute. When autocademir's Onbera Demir in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MERSİN SK's goalie prevented a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Onbera Demir to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Onbera Demir managed to get in a good position for a shot. autocademir's supporters rose to their feet, but Onbera Demir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Emrah Adal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 53rd minute, autocademir's Onbera Demir dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Ibar Caño in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mehmet Emrah Adal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. autocademir's Koray Yiğitkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baki Şeref in the 71st minute of play. Kemalettin Barlas took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mehmet Emrah Adal. Mehmet Emrah Adal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. autocademir's Onbera Demir got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Onbera Demir received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mehmet Emrah Adal came out and tried to block the shot, but Onbera Demir slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 80th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Ibar Caño had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mehmet Emrah Adal. MERSİN SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ibar Caño was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. Koray Yiğitkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haşim Kavi in the 94th minute of the match.
