Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Atilla Bumin Kutyan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gökhan Umur in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gürel İftihar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 15 minutes, Hilbert Grevsby mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bornova and the Armutlu players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hilbert Grevsby kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. When Atilla Bumin Kutyan came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Armutlu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atilla Bumin Kutyan couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gökhan Umur in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gürel İftihar saved Armutlu from getting behind. Gürel İftihar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gökhan Umur, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Hilbert Grevsby got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tamer Yaşer kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. If Gökhan Umur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gürel İftihar came out of the goal and Innokentiy Dudarev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Armutlu getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Türkeş Özgurel hit a great ball. Mustafa Ali Türek struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Gürel İftihar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bornova. Hilbert Grevsby hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. If Gökhan Umur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Innokentiy Dudarev took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gürel İftihar. Armutlu's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tamer Yaşer hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. A wasted opportunity for Bornova. 84 minutes into the match, Bornova's Atilla Tarkan Okatay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gürel İftihar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gökhan Umur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Bornova could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Armutlu throughout the match.
